Sharon Dutton and Kim Linnell, from Gently Hugged, attended the meeting.

This local nonprofit collects and distributes bags of donated clothing and blankets to babies in need.

Kim demonstrated how the volunteers methodically fill/stuff the packages that are given to new mothers.​

​Betty Patterson del Sol, Professor of Horticulture at MiraCosta College brought some of her students to demonstrate their thought process for creating their special holiday designs.  Betty also teaches at Palomar and Southwestern Colleges, along with her busy schedule as lecturer, floral consultant and active participant each year in "Art Alive" in San Diego! ​
