Mar 19 General Meeting - Shari Matteson, Buena Creek Gardens, 418 Buena Creek Rd., San Marcos, CA 92069-9725 - No garden has been featured in more magazines than Buena Creek Gardens bird and butterfly demonstration garden. Shari Matteson, owner of this nursery, will tell us just what plants will create a similar sanctuary in our yards. It is often difficult to get information on plants that are locally available and that will thrive in our area. Shari will also have plants for purchase at this meeting. Also, "March Hat Madness." Wear your favorite old gardening hat to the meeting. Decorate it with fresh or artificial flowers, vegetables, bugs, or any type of gardening paraphernalia, if you wish, and let's just get a little crazy! Gentlemen members pull out your old fishing, golf, or favorite ball caps.
