Save a stamp and bring your check made payable to Bernardo Gardeners Club to the May General Meeting in the amount of $25 ($10 additional for spouses). This is the last General Meeting of our fiscal year.
On April 25th, the 6th Annual Hats Off To Volunteers Recogni-
tion Ceremony celebrated Honorees from 69 different organi-zations serving the Rancho Bernardo community. The event was held at Rancho Bernardo High School where hundreds of people came out on a rainy day to show their appreciation to these giving people, learn more about their organizations and share in the joy of attending this fabulous event. This year’s ceremony was co-hosted by the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation, the Rancho Bernardo Hall of Fame and Rancho Bernardo High School Foundation.
The Bernardo Gardeners Club is proud to announce that our own, Maxine Schimmel, was one of the Honorees in the category of Civic Beautification for which she has been our Chairlady for many, many years. There are countless trees bringing joy to others and our environment all thriving in our community thanks to Maxine's leadership.
